Tasi - Anifest was conducted at Mumbai on 25,26 and 27th of August this year. Arena jayanagar students were there at mumbai to participate. The future animators got lots of things to learn there. More than 3000 people attended the programme. The session was informative. There is a lot yet to reveal in the field of animation, it is an art form that extends to various occupations and at Anifest People got the right idea for Alternate Careers in Animation.

Mr. Ajay Saran Sharma from Tata Motors and an ace at Automotive Design presented the intricacies of designing for a car. His presentation was short and precise, beginning from the classical approach, process and tools, moulding as per Indian context how cars are designed he ended with showing how product briefs and their interpretations vary based on geography and traditions.

Anifest invites all age groups, everyone from all over India whoever is an Animation enthusiast and want to gain more knowledge and information. And to teach the ropes of animation they had invited the best amongst the fraternity. Chetan Sharma presented the facets of directing and designing for a feature production- Tripura.

Vishnu Athreya from Cartoon Network spoke on their major creation Roll No 21, an episodic series. Vishnu with Divya Chandel, the writer for Roll No 21 and Ah Loong from Animagic Malaysia have created a Krishna that every child can relate to.

There was a Screening of Films selected by the Jury for Special Mention as well as Films that had got nominated for Professional Independent Films Category

The third day started with the 'The New Dimension- Converting 3D to 3D Stereoscopy' by very talented professional, Anand Bhanushali. He is the Technical Director of Krayon Pictures. He highlighted the session with interesting case studies of Tunnel Riders and Delhi Safari.

TASI celebrated the completion of 10 years on the 25th of August 2011. On the 25th of August the pioneers shared with us their years of Anifest and TASI in the form of a reverie of all the colorful posters and images created by them to invite all enthusiasts of animation to learn more and more about it. With workshops the year round, the number of membership has increased manifold.
